Handmade Wolpertinger Hatchling
This little wolpertinger hatchling was originally sculpted which Chavant Castilene, then casted with casting resin. The eyes are made of glass cabochons that were painted black on the back, then put into the mold before the casting process. The sculpture is painted with acrylic paints and then sealed with matt varnish. The eggshell is also made with casting resin, so it is stable and there is no need to fear that it could break. It was also painted with acrylic paints and then sealed with a silky matt varnish. The sculpture is attached to a little pedestal made of cast ceramic powder, and decorated with real dried moss.
